After breakfast visit Shkoder. The city was founded around the 4th century BC and become
the capital of Illirian Kindom. It was colonized by the Romans in the 221 BC. Visit Rozafa fortress
and enjy the landsckape. Walking tour in the centre of the city and visit the Marumbi Museum,
the Cathedral and the Mosque. Continuo the jorney to Kruja. Sightseeng of the city, the bazaar,
Medieval fortress and Historical Museum. Dinner and overnight in Tirana,

Day 3
TIRANA- VALONA
After breakfast we depart to Vlora, enjoying the panoramic views. Arrive in Vlora, an ancient
city known by the 4th century as Aulona. It was here that Albania was procliamed as Indipendent
in 1912 from the Ottoman Empire. Visit museum of Indipendence. Dinner and overnight in Vlora.

VALONA-BUTRINTO (UNESCO)-SARANDA
This morning travel to Saranda and arrive in Butrint, UNESCO World Heritage site. Inhabited
since prehistoric times, Butrint has been a Greek colony, a Roman city and Episcopal center.
follwing . The most interesting ancient Greek monument, the theatre, is firly well preserved.
The Baptistery is the major paleo-Christian ruin of ancient Roman monument. The theatre, Asklep’Temple, portico, Roman baths are the most magnificent part of the ancient city. Dinner and overnight in Saranda.

SARANDA-ARGIROCATRO (UNESCO)-BERAT
Arrive in Gjirokastra a UNESCO site and “museum town” with beautiful and very distinct
architecture. Visit the Fortress which is used as the venue for the National Festival of Folk Song
and Dance and has an Arms’ Museum. Visit the Ethnographic Museum which is also the house
where the Albanian dictator was born in. Coninue the jurnay to Berat for dinner and overnight.

BERAT-DURAZZO-TIRANA
Visit the ancient fortress still inhabited and Onufri icone museum. Sightseeing of the Mangalemi
quarter UNESCO heritage site, known for its unique architecture, numerous churches and
mosques. Seghtseen of Durres, the ruins of Roman amphitheater, Bizantin city, the defence
wall, Venetian tower, and the Archeologica Museum.
